Exodus:
A Journey of Unlimited Grace

For the next 150 days we are celebrating 150 years of God’s faithfulness to Grace Presbyterian Church. Our 150th Anniversary is both a commemoration of our participation in God’s mission; and, it is also a commencement—an opportunity to journey forward in God’s purposes and mission. For these reasons, I know of no better place to focus our biblical attention than on the Book of Exodus. This book chronicles the journey of God’s people from the land of Egypt to the Land of Promise, as they look back on God’s faithfulness to his covenant and look forward to his provision for their mission. As the Book of Exodus is both a commemoration and a commencement, it promises to guide us well through a 150th Anniversary season in which we offer praise for God’s faithfulness in the past and offer prayers for his preparation for our future.
